Minicraft P-47D in 1/144 Scale
A favorite for decades in the Minicraft lineup is the 1/144 scale P-47 Thunderbolt. During WWII, it was known as the heaviest single-engine fighter used by the USAAF. Appearing for combat use later in the war (1943), it was effective as a fighter and bomber. Fighter pilots affectionately referred to it as the “Jug” thanks to its shape being related to that of a milk container of the period.
